Wenceslas\u2019\u0131n kutsal Roma \u0130mparatoru I. Otto\u2019dan Aziz Vitus\u2019un bir kal\u0131nt\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 almas\u0131yla ba\u015flar. Bu kal\u0131nt\u0131y\u0131 onurland\u0131rmak i\u00e7in 930\u2019larda bir rotunda in\u015fa edilmi\u015fti. Ancak bug\u00fcnk\u00fc katedralin temelleri, 14. y\u00fczy\u0131lda, 1344 y\u0131l\u0131nda \u0130mparator IV. Charles d\u00f6neminde at\u0131ld\u0131. Gotik tarzda ba\u015flayan proje, sava\u015flar, ekonomik sorunlar ve siyasi \u00e7alkant\u0131lar nedeniyle tam 600 y\u0131l s\u00fcrd\u00fc. \u0130lk mimar Matthias of Arras, Frans\u0131z Gotik tarz\u0131n\u0131 Prag\u2019a ta\u015f\u0131d\u0131. Onun vefat\u0131ndan sonra Peter Parler devrald\u0131 ve katedrale kendine \u00f6zg\u00fc detaylar ekledi. Ana kule, 96,5 metre y\u00fcksekli\u011fiyle Prag\u2019\u0131n her yerinden g\u00f6r\u00fclebilir. Bat\u0131 cephesindeki ikiz kuleler, Neo-Gotik tarz\u0131n zarif bir \u00f6rne\u011fidir ve 20. y\u00fczy\u0131l\u0131n ba\u015f\u0131nda tamamlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. G\u00fcney taraf\u0131ndaki Alt\u0131n Kap\u0131 (Zlat\u00e1 br\u00e1na), bir zamanlar krallar\u0131n ta\u00e7 giyme t\u00f6reni i\u00e7in kulland\u0131\u011f\u0131 giri\u015f olarak biliniyor ve \u00fczerinde b\u00fcy\u00fcleyici bir mozaik bulunuyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ic-mekan-isik-ve-renk-soleni\"><strong>\u0130\u00e7 Mekan: I\u015f\u0131k ve Renk \u015e\u00f6leni<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Katedralin i\u00e7ine ad\u0131m att\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131zda, renkli vitray pencereler sizi adeta ba\u015fka bir d\u00fcnyaya ta\u015f\u0131r. \u00d6zellikle Alfons Mucha\u2019n\u0131n tasarlad\u0131\u011f\u0131 Art Nouveau tarz\u0131ndaki pencere, Slav halklar\u0131n\u0131n tarihini anlatan canl\u0131 renkleriyle dikkat \u00e7eker. Peter Parler\u2019in eseri olan tonozlu tavanlar, Gotik mimarinin hafiflik ve y\u00fckseklik hissini m\u00fckemmel bir \u015fekilde yans\u0131t\u0131r. Kuleye t\u0131rmanmak, hem \u00e7an\u0131 yak\u0131ndan g\u00f6rmek hem de Prag\u2019\u0131n nefes kesen manzaras\u0131n\u0131 seyretmek i\u00e7in harika bir f\u0131rsat sunar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"kulturel-ve-manevi-onem\"><strong>K\u00fclt\u00fcrel ve Manevi \u00d6nem<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"bohemyanin-kalbi\"><strong>Bohemya\u2019n\u0131n Kalbi<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Aziz Vitus Katedrali, sadece bir ibadet yeri de\u011fil, ayn\u0131 zamanda \u00c7ek tarihinin bir aynas\u0131d\u0131r. Bohemya krallar\u0131n\u0131n ta\u00e7 giyme t\u00f6renleri burada ger\u00e7ekle\u015fmi\u015f, kraliyet m\u00fccevherleri katedralin \u00f6zel odalar\u0131nda saklanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.
